Layered Curriculum: Creating a Student-Centered, Technology-Driven Classroom

The 6 hour course consists of 3 real-time, online sessions. (1 @ 1.5 hours and 2 @ 1 hour) as well as work outside of classtime. Participants are expected to design and implement 1 - 2 units fo Layered Curriculum for their specific work setting.

A course certificate for 6 hours will be issued upon successful completion. (We will work with you if you need additional paperwork completed for your district's CEC requirements)

Course Cost: $105.00*

  • Class 1: An Introduction to Layered Curriculum, including how to set-up and run completely student-centered & technology-driven classrooms. (1.5 hour). Participants will then design 1- 2 units of Layered Curriculum in their work setting.
  • Class 2: Review of individual units. Logistic issues, planning and implementation. Working with special populations. (1 hour) Participants will the implement their revised units.
  • Class 3: Improving Students' Critical Thinking Skills. Evaluation & Going Forward. (1 Hour)

Course Requires: Skype account w/ high speed internet access, headset w/ microphone, Layered Curriculum, 2nd edition text

Once payment is made, we will email a registration form to the email address listed on the paypal order.

*100% refundable up to 7 days prior to start of course. 50% refundable up to day course begins. No refunds after course starts. Upon request, you may attend missed classes in next session.
